Mike Vidan is an American entrepreneur, service business operator, and Co-Founder of QuoteIQ, a leading CRM for home service businesses used by over 40,000 contractors. With more than 25 years of experience, he is known for building, scaling, and systematizing service companies using practical, real-world processes that generate consistent revenue..
He began his career in 1997 in sales, marketing, and operations with Fortune 50 companies, where he developed a foundation in high-performance systems and business execution. While working in corporate America, Mike simultaneously built multiple service businesses, developing systems and processes that allowed him to operate and scale them without compromising his performance in a corporate environment. He wasn’t stepping away from one to build the other — he was doing both, using structured systems to manage time, operations, and growth across each.
That experience led him to fully transition into entrepreneurship, where he built multiple seven-figure service businesses in lawn care and pressure washing — industries defined by tight margins, local competition, and operational efficiency. Rather than relying on theory, Mike built his approach through direct experience in the field — managing crews, handling customer relationships, pricing jobs, and solving the day-to-day challenges that service business owners face.
His philosophy is centered around building systems that reduce owner dependency, implementing accurate pricing from the start, hiring and training reliable teams, and eliminating operational bottlenecks that prevent businesses from scaling. Drawing from his disciplined foundation at The Citadel, his experience inside high-performance corporate organizations, and his entrepreneurial mindset built in the field, Mike combined the strengths of all three to create the foundation behind QuoteIQ.
Partnering with Justin Rogers brought together two operators with real-world experience, aligned on a shared vision to build a platform that reflects how service businesses actually run without relying on multiple disconnected tools.
Mike Vidan is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and a published author. He is based in Savannah, Georgia, where he continues to operate businesses, develop systems, and build software focused on improving how home service companies run and grow.
